Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my site!
Here's a little about me :)
I'm a local Campbell Riverite, Born and raised here! For me - CAMPBELL RIVER means friends, family many past colleagues and the MOST beautiful place in the world! For Real!
While I was born and raised here - of course like most young adults - I couldn't wait to leave! So off to Victoria, BC & Camuson College I went with my girlfriends! I also lived in Fort McMurray, AB for 2 years - Brrrr..... that is a cold I didn't know existed! My husband and I learned a lot in our time there - I continued going to school in the direction of business admin while working as assistant Post Office Manager for most of my time there!
After 2 years we were ready to come home - after some debate of where to head to next - we settled on our CR home to the relief of my mother I'm sure! Once home I worked as a Customer Service Representative & Appointment Coordinator @Tyee Chevrolet for about 4 years where I gained a great deal more experience in the business world and managing clientele. Next, a job opportunity I had been waiting for came up at Myra Falls Underground Mine as a Mine Clerk - something totally out of my wheelhouse! I jumped in right away and rode the bus an hour and a half each way to and from the office for the next 4 years! I met so many amazing colleagues and really enjoyed the job - thought I did find it isolating working long days; largely alone in an office.
When the mining slow down hit in 2015 I had been considering a career in real estate for about a year. As layoffs approached I enrolled in the UBC Sauder Business School and began my big transition into the Real Estate world feet first! When 2016 hit I was licensed and ready to roll. I was lucky to have found a wonderful mentor who worked within the RE/MAX office who had been in the business for about 12 years at the time. She gave me so much inspiration and is to this day one of my strongest mentors who has supported me from day 1.
Thank you Anita Painter!
Now here I am with experience under my belt and always working to improve my knowledge and service! Late 2019 the opportunity came up for me to consider volunteering to sit on the Board of Directors for the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board! I was nominated by a couple high level agents within my office and I'm now sitting on the VIREB Board of Directors for the 2020-2022 Term learning even more and hoping to continue giving back to the industry that has helped me grow.
I love working with people and helping clients through all the steps and challenges that arise during a real estate transaction. I am here to make it easy for you! I feel the best way to start is to chat over the phone or meet for coffee to chat about your needs and see how I can assist you!
Thanks for Reading! Look forward to working with you!
